    First you stole my heart,
       Then you thrilled my heart,
Now you have killed my heart.

    You robbed a kind heart,
       Hardened a tender heart,
Ripped forever all trust from this heart.

You took a heart made to never part,
Piece by piece, you took this heart apart,
You took destroying a loving heart, too a fine art.

Burned the blood of hope from my heart,
       Left a void unforgiving heart,
Broken and hopelessly in eternal dark.

So dark must be the inside of your heart,
So hard the ramparts of your heart,
So cold the blood that runs through your heart.
